Dinner at Canaletta

We booked Canaletto the day prior for 1930 pm. I am sure it is quieter as it is a 35 day voyage and different than a 7 day voyage where everyone wants to get into the specialty restaurants.  So had no issue making reservations for the two specialty dinings we wanted to book.

The food was outstanding.

Here is the menu.

I had the grilled scampi as my starter and Bernie had the Burata.

For our main I had Italian sausage pasta and Bernie had the grilled sea bass.  Both wonderful.

I really liked how they had a wine cart nearby so they can quickly get wine orders.  So much faster than having to go to the nearest full bar.

The staff are super friendly and we really enjoyed getting to know them.

Dessert was again superb.

The surcharge is $25 plus an 18% gratuity. Well worth it.

We head down to the piano bar (Billboard On Board ) to listen to him.

When leaving we encountered the Bar Hop group passing by.  They were having a great time!  They were obviously at the end of their bar hop.

In bed at 11.  This ship really shuts down early.  Again may be different on a different itinerary with different demographics.  But heck we are ready to call it a night anyways.  So guess we are those demographics.

Clocks go back an hour tonight.  A sea day tomorrow and my first lecture.
