Jasper has been hanging out all day relaxing knowing this is his chance to travel again. He recently turned Platinum on Princess. Thankfully he doesn't mind not being Elite as he doesn't wear clothes and doesn't need things washed.
It is always hard to sleep before a trip.... I know everything is done, I have everything I could possibly need, and probably more!
The list has everything crossed off, so what else needs to be done. Answer: not much.
Tonight we went for dinner at a friends (yeah I don't have to cook). Bernie works first thing tomorrow until just before 11 where he will walk home. We will gather the bags and drive down to the port which is about 40 minutes away. Drop them off then head off to park our car near the airport at a friend's place. A short bus ride to the skytrain ($2.50 fare to downtown - but we have transit passes as employees) and we are a block from the pier. We hope to be on board by 2 pm. We are the only ship in port Monday so everything should be smooth sailing.
Jasper with Comedian Al Katz on the Emerald last January, yup he is up on stage! He loved it, he does like attention. He is sad to hear Al won't be on board with us, but hopes to see him in January again.
