It is an odd day, the ship feels quiet but it is busy. Does that really make sense?
Things have settled down and people know the lay of the ship
now and the routine.
Lots of sales going on and the shops are busy.
Of course the Purser's desk is busy.
Many people are up on the decks enjoying the last day of sun
and pool.
For us we take our time getting up and settle down in Crooners
with a coffee and the daily Sudoku.
The egg drop contest is happening and once again this ship
really knows how to do activities. One of the cruise staff is dressed as a
chicken. One is dressed in plastic for protection. The puns that are thrown out
make us all grown.
For lunch I get a bit to eat up in the buffet. I so like
this set up and so many great options.

Our afternoon was spent relaxing and watching a movie.
The last night is also odd, people are putting their bags out
and wandering around with the look of – I am ready to go but I don’t want
to. We say goodbye to many of our
friends getting off.
Drinks in Skywalkers and we love reconnecting with Ecko who we first met in Club 6 on the Royal.
One issue that is happening with the new Ocean Medallion is
that there are no longer any mailboxes outside our cabin. Mail is delivered by
the steward. This is fine but it is difficult to leave things for friends. Also tonight when we return from dinner we
still have no in transit envelope with our new cruise cards.
It is 9 pm so we head down to the Purser’s desk to investigate. The guy we dealt with said not a problem they
will be delivered tomorrow that we don’t need them.
WHAT !
Of course we know better. We tell
him we know we need our new cards to get back on the ship, we also need in
transit cards. We hold him to task to
find out where the cards are. Note
sometimes you don’t get new cards when you book the two cruises as one longer
one like a 14 day. Your card will show
dates reflecting the entire trip. We
know we get new ones as we booked as three voyages and we change cabins. The purser staff says housekeeping will
deliver.
While returning to the cabin the housekeeping supervisor is
following us and he has our envelope. He
said he tried to deliver it this afternoon but we had do not disturb up. So it would
have been easier if they just could of left in the mail box.
We had a very nice cabin. It is showing some signs of wear and tear but everything worked great and issue we had was dealt with right away.
The biggest issue with all the cabins is the walls are thin. There is a family with two small kids beside us and we could hear them screaming and running around a lot. The people on the other side of us have love to play their tv so loud we know what show is on!
For those interested the most travelled guest is once again
Mr. and Mrs. Goldenberg with 1578 days.
