Cruising Podcasts

I have been listening to Podcasts for a very long time.  Way before they became mainstream.

I use to download them to my little MP3 player - yes I am dating myself.  Then when I was working I would play them and dream of far away places.

I have a few favorites.

Cruise Radio is my favorite - Doug and I go way back and I have been on his podcast quite a few times.  Check him out.

Doug also has Cruise Radio News that I will listen to for a quick, short news brief all about cruising.  You can also follow them on Facebook.

Another one I listen to often is Always be booked cruise podcast.

I use to listen to the Cruise Dudes Podcast but gave up as there podcasts are so long and they just ramble on and on.  So I have dropped them, but they are still a good source of information.

There are a few podcasts that are cruise line specific, but I really don't subscribe to them but listen to them on occasion.

I also enjoy travel related podcasts too with my favorite being Rick Steves.

Do you have a favorite Cruise podcast?  Let me know.

Of course there are many great Youtube cruise channels but that will be a blog for a future date.  But send me your favorite Youtube channels for travel.

Thanks for following, stay safe everyone.

Podcast Interview about the Island Princess Mediterranean Cruise

Once again I had the pleasure of chatting with Doug Parker of Cruise Radio about our cruise last Fall on the Island Princess.

The cruise was 31 days from Rome to Fort Lauderdale.  To check out my blog report of that amazing voyage click here.

Here is a link to the interview with Doug about the Island Princess and it's recent changes.

Stay tuned for another Podcast where I talk about the Mediterranean Ports of Call as a first time Mediterranean cruisers.

Cruise Etiquette Podcast on Cruise Radio

A while ago I did a blog all about Cruise Etiquette - the Ins and Outs on How to Make Your Cruise Experience Better (you can see the full blog post here).

Doug from Cruise Radio contacted me about doing a podcast on the subject.

Of course these are only my views as a cruise passenger. Tell me what you think.

You can find the pod cast here  ---- Episode 338

Alaska Review on Cruise Radio

Was happy to do another interview for Doug on Cruise Radio all about our Alaskan cruise on the Crown Princess at the beginning of August.

Vickie's Interview on Cruise Radio

My favorite Podcast about cruising is Cruise Radio and I am always happy when Doug Parker, the host contact me for an interview about a past cruise.

Recently I spoke with Doug about our last cruise on the Crown Princess back in April.

The cruise was a repositioning from Los Angeles to Vancouver with stops in Catalina, San Francisco, Astoria, and Victoria.

Here is a link to the podcast.

Cruise Radio Interview

As many of you know I am a transit driver in the city of Vancouver.  So to help pass the time I often listen to pod casts on my iPhone   I have been doing this since I first got an iPod and the selection was limited as to what pod casts you could get.

Thankfully as the years have passed the selection has increased and of course the travel pod casts, including cruise pod casts have been added to my favorites.

I have been on a few other pod casts.  But sadly these two other pod casts have pretty much folded.  It is a big commitment but they are missed.  but....

Last year (or maybe two years ago) I found Cruise Radio and started listening to them every week.

We have been in discussions for almost a year about me coming on for an interview to discuss Princess.

Last week we finally coordinated our schedules and we were able to get the interview down.

So here is a link to the interview Pod Cast
