900,000 HITS

Wow I am stunned, I just hit 900,000 hits to my blog!

This year has been a busy year for the blog.

I posted just over 150 blog posts this year alone.  With the 40 days on the Royal at the beginning of the year and then the 46 Road Trip across Canada.

Thank you for reading and following along and all your great comments and encouragement.

Not sure how long I will continue writing and posting but for now I really enjoy writing them and sharing so for now keep following.

Next cruise is August 4th so stay tuned.

Grass Doesn't Grow Under Our Feet - Sailing Soon

As we settled into our new home in Cape Breton we both knew it would not be long before the bug hit and we had to set sail again.

We were both commenting that we had not sailed since February - note that 3 day re-positioning cruise in April does not count.

Of course I think Princess was probably wondering why we did not have anything planned and we kept receiving these standby deals that were just teasing us.

Bernie also kept saying that he would love it if we were sailing for my birthday in August.

Well we got some great deals and we booked the Caribbean Princess August 4, 11, and 18th sailing.

The cruise starts out as an Eastern Caribbean, then a Western Caribbean then we repeat the Eastern Caribbean.

We rarely go to many of these ports as we are usually on the Southern Ten Day sailings.

So we are looking forward to St. Maarten (only been once, and on this trip we go twice).  Also always love Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Costa Maya.

We are in an inside for all three sailings and we could not get all the same cabin so we will be moving each leg.  But that is no concern for us, heck some people do land vacations and change hotels every night or every few days.  We can handle moving every seven days, plus just to stay on board makes it extra great.

Also I am looking forward to seeing all the new changes on the Caribbean since it's last drydock.

Also word is that Ocean Medallion is rolling out starting August 4th!  Of course things could change but fingers are crossed.

Once again we scooped up some great air cost through Princess EZ Air.  We are able to fly from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Fort Lauderdale with a stop in Toronto for a reasonable price.

Our hotel is booked at the Sheraton Suites on University Drive near Saw Grass Mills thru points.  We stayed here once before and really like the location and size of the rooms and the prices are more reasonable than being right near the port.
