Crew Chat Option


With the Medallion App now you can chat with someone from Guest Services.  No longer do you need to go down to the front desk to resolve some issues.  Especially those small tedious things.


Open the app and choose one of two ways to select the crew chat.  Either the question mark at the top.  Or scroll down and select crew call chat from the menu.

A few days ago we noticed a charge for drinks from Princess Cays.  I opened crew chat and told them and they confirmed we should not have been charged and it was removed.

We had an issue with a light switch plate that kept falling off.  Our steward reported it 2 days ago but no one has repaired it.  So this morning I check the status with guest services via crew chat.

I even could send a pic of the issue.  Within an hour someone was here repairing it.


Also if the issue continues you can go back into crew chat and select a previous chat and reopen the chat so it can further be resolved.

Now is it perfect, well of course not.  You do sometimes have to wait for someone to connect with you, and sometimes waits can be awhile if they are busy.  But you can just go about your cruise while you wait.

Yes you need to type in your issue and for some technology can be difficult or a pain.  

And you do miss the personal contact.

But they then have a record of your issue.  And it is often dealt with right away.  Also I love that I don't have ro wait in line or on the phone.  

No matter what it is a step in the right direction.
